The CGN activities are subdivided into the categories below.

CGN competition
CGN organises the music and dance sport competition in the Netherlands. Units from across Europe give dazzling performances in this competition. The basis of these performances consists of dance, movement, choreography and theatre. The performances are subdivided in three disciplines: Colorguard (dance), Indoor Percussion (percussion) and Indoor Winds (wind instruments). The best units are among the absolute top performers in Europe and provide top-class entertainment value.
CGN talks & clinics
As platform for the dance and music sport in Europe, CGN will safeguard the relevant knowledge. CGN will share this knowledge in various ways, for example by organising clinics given by professionals in their respective fields or by giving advice. The exclusive CGN Magazine will also pay attention to it.
CGN jury training
The various competitions are a means to develop yourself and/or a unit. A high-quality jury team is essential for this development. CGN has its own unique course for becoming a certified jury member. The combination of theory and practice provides participants with a unique insight into the world of adjudication, possibly providing access to a global network.
Voorlichting
CGN organiseert regelmatig bijeenkomsten waarin allerlei vragen beantwoord worden voor clubs die zich afvragen wat CGN is en of de competitie iets voor hun vereniging kan zijn.
